loose and tight

Some clarification: I did not do this rooster in one day. It actually took about four sessions of a few hours each to complete. I tried some new painting techniques with this one that really made it fun: trying to paint faster in some areas and keeping a balance between loose and tight.
Soon I'll have it off to it's new owner.
Got new business cards in the mail today! I really like the way they turned out.

  2. Extremely cool card. There's a painting by Berthe Morisot of a woman painter in just such a elongated composition as you on your card.
From what I see of your work, I love it... especially if by commenting, I'm transformed into a being that is wise, young and beautiful!

  3. Very cool card! Did you design it?

Would you be interested in doing sketches at $50 each to help the Gulf oil spill? Here's a link with a little about the RIPPLE project. http://taralazar.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/ripple/
