a grouch, I guess

I am pretty sure that every day this summer I have worn my hair up in a ponytail. So this morning I decided to try to get my hair decent-looking enough to wear down. Upon completion I asked my daughter if she noticed anything different about me. She paused for a minute and then said in question form, "Um, you're happy?"

  7. Ah...I wish I could write every funny thing my kids say down, but I often forget. Carolyn told one of my friends (babysitting her) that her bathroom was nasty...that's probably the only bluntness that was truly embarrassing.
