getting ready

Currently, I am preparing for my first ever solo exhibit. Here is a piece I finished two days ago. The title: Haystacks. Oil on luan mahogany- 14"x14". The exhibit will run from March 1st to April 19th, 2008 in Salt Lake City. There will be an opening reception on March 6th.

I painted some tonight but had a hard time getting into it...probably all the talk radio. I think I am going to have to go back to classical.

These next ones I thought I'd post too. Oh, the name of the exhibit is ruralscapes.

  1. Julie! I just thought I would randomly check your blog and see if you've posted anything since last year. ha ha! Your paintings are looking good. Good job at pushing your colors. The hay stacks look really nice. Glad that you're finding some more time to work with little Mallie (sp?). Nice work.

  2. p.s. I'm excited for your show!

  3. Thank you so MUCH. I really Didn't think anyone would read my blog. I
was kind-of doing it for myself at this point. I revamped it all. Did
you notice my new header. I like how easy it is now to post a picture
    there now.
Can't wait to see you next week!
